Recoveries Corporation Group’s Chairman John Wauchope was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to the insurance industry and to the community in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
The Order of Australia is the pre-eminent means of recognising Australians who have demonstrated outstanding service or exceptional achievement.
John Wauchope is also currently Director of BRM Risk Management and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
He is also a former Chairman of the Victorian branch of the Australian Insurance Association (1984-1989) and a former Chairman to the regional advisory panel of the Insurance Council (1986-1988).
Aside from his services to insurance industry, John has also devoted himself in taking predominant role in ages care services in Mt Macedon.
